This is a film by a woman who after a sad separation gave life an unexpected turn. Anna Norberg traveled on a ship full of handsome sailors and came home with a film about love and longing.


Thoughts before the trip

Call it escapism, this is not the way I thought it would be.

After four years it is over with my boyfriend. I thought that we would have kids together ,but thats not the way it turned out to be.

And it hurts quite much..

This is my boat, a load ship 180 metre long, 27000 tone of weight, and 25 men strong. I met some sailors who enticed me with a free cabin,and I took the chance. I am 28 years old and have a wish for the real life, something thats shakes me up. I just must get away. The adventures is around the corner. I go to sea, before I go aboard , I get a letter from the crew. Or is it maybe a wishing list?
