This documentary will explore the nature of the disorder “love addiction” through personal stories of love addicts and the people around them. It will search to understand what creates this peculiar disorder and describe the struggles and cravings for the ultimate aphrodisiac: Love.
Love addicts fall in love with a fantasy. They seek someone to rescue them. Someone who can give their life meaning and who can save them from their own life. They seek someone they can get “high” on. Very often love addicts fall for someone who does not love them back or won’t commit and this causes many problems, both for the love addict and the person they are addicted to.
