Best Editing Award
We are proud to announce that Benjamin Binderup wins the best editing award at Sveriges Filmklippare (Swedish Film Editors) for his editing on Breaking Social. Also a big thank you to the second editor Anders Bewarp for his important contribution.
Retrospective in Mexico
DOCS MX, a leading Latin American doc-festival, awarded Fredrik Gertten an honorable award for his work over the years. Fredrik had a retrospective of five films at the 2024 edition of the festival.
WG Film 30 Years
Earlier this year, we celebrated our 30 years anniversary with a party at our office. We were blessed to see so many people we met over the years who could make it there!
Over a 100 episodes!
Our podcast finishes its 8th season this month. In year four of the podcast we had listeners in 162 countries. We also reached our 100th episode this year. There was a lot to learn from our very global and interesting guests.
This season we had Christophe Najdovski on the show, the deputy major of Paris, who spoke about the transformation of Paris when it comes to bikes vs cars. We also welcomed Peter S Goodman, New York Times correspondent who talked about his new book ‘How The World Ran Out Of Everything.’ And this season there was a very special four-part series in which Pushback Talks Producer Kirsten sits down with Leilani Farha and Sam Freeman to introduce listeners to The Shift Directives: a revolutionary approach to the global housing crisis.

Good Docs picked up the educational rights for Breaking Social in the USA and in Canada. The same distributor already handles PUSH in the US.
